Residents of Wall Township need not fear a boring fall season: the Wall Recreation Department is offering multiple programs and events to satisfy anyones interests.
Edward Grill, Walls recreation coordinator, said he is very excited about all the programs being offered this fall.
"Fall tennis is one of the biggest programs we have," he said, but noted that with over 700 participants each year, the basketball program is the most popular.
"Hopefully the Sidewalk Seniors program will have great numbers this fall," Mr. Grill said. The program, which started about a year ago along with Senior Yoga, allows senior citizens to meet and walk together around the grounds of the Municipal Building together.
Mr. Grill also said he is particularly excited to offer the second annual Mommy-Son Dinner Dance on Nov. 20. "We sell out every year," he said, and the waiting list last year filled up quickly, as well over 50 people signed up in case of cancellations. Mr. Grill urged residents to sign up "as soon as possible" for the dinner dance. He expects the event to fill up within the next two weeks.
The multiple programs slated to occur offer something for everyone. Mr. Grill said, "I expect the fall season to be a great success."
